WHEN IT TOLLS
Follow us deep down below, into a world of odds and ends, where two acrobats throw themselves into the air, balance on each other, and suspend from the ceiling. Perhaps an old clothesline can be walked on, or you can swing from a buoy. Immerse yourself in a world of lost things, where strange creatures exist - monsters constructed of paper and forgotten items. Here secrets linger, and danger lurks. Come, and we will take you on an adventure of a lifetime. But when the bell tolls, be sure you don’t get lost.

Vision
When It Tolls is a surreal circus and clown show. Inspired by death and its ritualistic practices across cultures, it explores a strange world of limbo through several different characters. Whenever the bell rings, the characters die. This investigation into dark humor and the beautiful and harrowing celebration of the dead drove us to create characters using puppetry and maskwork. These creatures include a paper monster, remote control creatures and gremlins. We were inspired by Ghibli and are searching for that balance of whimsy, surreal and disturbing in the work.
